LINCOLN, NE – With a deadline drawing near, Governor Jim Pillen is reminding Nebraskans about the value of participating in the upcoming Governor’s Ag and Economic Development Summit. Registrations must be submitted by the end of business on Friday, July 21. The Summit is put on in collaboration with the Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED) and the Nebraska Department of Agriculture (NDA). Smith was appointed CEO in January 2019 by then Governor Pete Ricketts. She will assume a role with a national firm that supports health and human services agencies across the U.S. Her last day at DHHS will be August 4.
