While he was in South Korea, Governor Pillen was presented with a pin commemorating the anniversary. He said while there, mention was made often to him about the service and sacrifice of U.S. veterans during the war.

LINCOLN, NE – Today, Governor Pillen announced his appointment of Sara Bauer of Fremont as county court judge for the Sixth Judicial District of Nebraska. The district includes Burt, Cedar, Dakota, Dixon, Dodge, Thurston, and Washington Counties.
LINCOLN, NE – Today, Governor Pillen announced his appointment of Senator Tom Briese as state treasurer. Briese will assume the duties of the office on Nov. 1. He will complete the remaining term of John Murante, who will become director of the Nebraska Public Employees Retirement Systems (NPERS).
