LINCOLN, NE – Lieutenant Governor Joe Kelly is touting the many opportunities that he and trade mission delegates had to promote Nebraska products and continued market growth during a recent week and a half long visit to Indonesia. The 20-plus member team took part in a full slate of meetings, events and activities geared primarily at showcasing Nebraska agricultural commodities including beef, pork, soybeans, corn and grains. The delegation included representatives from the Nebraska Department of Agriculture (NDA), the Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED), the University of Nebraska, and several Nebraska agricultural business sector representatives.

Gov. Pillen Testifies Before Revenue Committee on Nebraska Plan for Property Tax Reform

LINCOLN, NE – Today, Governor Jim Pillen testified before the Legislature’s Revenue Committee on LB1, the property tax reduction bill introduced on his behalf by Sen. Lou Ann Linehan, chair of the committee. In three years, this bill aims to slash property taxes by an average of 50 percent for Nebraskans, based on the comprehensive proposal dubbed The Nebraska Plan.

Gov. Pillen Releases Property Tax Reduction Plan Ahead of Special Session

LINCOLN, NE – Today, Governor Jim Pillen joined state senators Lou Ann Linehan (District 39) and Robert Clements (District 2), presenting a sweeping plan for property tax reform.
