Governor Pillen Seeks Applicants for Director of Nebraska State Historical Society

LINCOLN, NE – Governor Jim Pillen is accepting applications for director of the Nebraska State Historical Society. This year, the Legislature approved, and the Governor signed LB1169, making the Historical Society a code agency. As with other code agencies, the director is appointed by the Governor and subject to legislative approval.

Gov. Pillen and Senators Visit Deployed Troops at Border

LINCOLN, NE – Governor Jim Pillen traveled Wednesday to Del Rio, Texas, to see troops he deployed to assist in securing America’s southern border. He was joined by Speaker John Arch, Senator Tom Brewer, chairman of the Legislature’s Government, Military and Veterans Affairs Committee, and Major General Craig Strong, Adjutant General for the Nebraska National Guard.

LINCOLN – Governor Jim Pillen, the Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED), and the Nebraska Department of Agriculture (NDA) encourage Nebraskans to register for the One Nebraska Ag & Economic Development Summit. This year’s event will take place August 7-8, 2024, at the Younes Conference Center North in Kearney.
