Best States to Move To

The ranking evaluates all 50 states across five weighted categories to identify the best states to move to. Using data from numerous Federal agencies and industry experts, Consumer Affairs scored states in the categories of affordability, safety, economy, healthcare and education, and quality of life. Adding category scores together produced the overall ranking.
