Gov. Ricketts Comments on September Revenue Report
LINCOLN – Today, Governor Pete Ricketts issued a statement following news that state general fund tax receipts for September fell $2 million short, or 0.4 percent, short of projections.
“Total receipts were closer to forecast than previous months. My team and I continue to closely monitor tax receipts and manage our budgets to protect Nebraska taxpayers.”
The Nebraska Economic Forecasting Advisory Board is scheduled to meet on October 27, 2017 to review the existing forecast. Traditionally, the board has issued updated forecasts which serve as the basis for any possible adjustments to the biennial budget.
