Gov. Ricketts Appoints Grant A. Forsberg to the County Court of the Fourth Judicial District

 

 

LINCOLN – Today, Governor Pete Ricketts appointed Grant A. Forsberg of Omaha to the County Court of the Fourth Judicial District. 

 

Forsberg, 52, is an attorney in private practice at Forsberg Law PC, LLO.  In his practice, he has focused on general civil litigation, domestic, and estate matters.  He was previously an associate and law clerk at Dwyer, Smith, Gardner, Lazer, Pohren, Rogers, & Forrest.

  

Forsberg holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with majors in Finance and Economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Juris Doctor from Creighton University.

 

Forsberg is a member of the Nebraska Bar Association, the Omaha Bar Association, and the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys.  He has received the Alfred G. Ellick Referral Service Award and the 2013 Martindale Hubbard Client Distinction Award.

 

The vacancy is due to the resignation of Judge Lawrence E. Barrett.

 

The primary office location of this vacancy will be Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska.
