Gov. Ricketts Announces Candidates for Economic Development Director
Lincoln – Today, Governor Pete Ricketts announced three candidates for Director of the Nebraska Department of Economic Development. Previously, Ricketts had announced that he would conduct a statewide and national search for the department’s next director.
Potential candidates were identified with the help of Jorgenson Consulting, Inc., a national firm with expertise in economic development. Governor Ricketts has interviewed the candidates, and anticipates that an appointment will be made shortly.
Courtney Dentlinger of Norfolk, Nebraska serves as the Executive Director of the Norfolk Economic Development Council.
Mary Lynn Fernau of Pearland, Texas works as the Director of Marketing and Advancement for the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship at Rice University.
Nathan Mick of Lexington, Kentucky is the Vice President of StateBook International and the Government Relations and Economic Development Advisor for the Carlisle-Nicholas County Industrial Development Authority.
