LINCOLN – Today, Fox News highlighted Governor Pete Ricketts’ reemployment program, which is helping connect Nebraskans to job opportunities.  Originally launched in 2015 by the Nebraska Department of Labor, the program is helping put Nebraskans back to work more quickly and delivering tax relief for job creators.  The program has won national awards for its success.

Other states are taking notice.  Just last week, the State of Kansas announced the launch of their “My (Re)Employment Plan,” which imitates the innovative Nebraska reemployment program.  Their plan is “an effort to match unemployed job seekers with Kansas employers looking to hire workers.”  More information can be found by clicking here.
