LINCOLN, NE – Today, Governor Jim Pillen, state senators, and the Nebraska Hospital Association (NHA) held a ceremonial bill signing at Methodist Fremont Health to celebrate a new law that will qualify the state’s hospitals for approximately $1 billion of additional federal Medicaid funds each year.

LINCOLN, NE – Governor Jim Pillen is commending the hire of Troy Dannen as the new director of athletics for the University of Nebraska. The former UNI grad (1989) has been serving as athletic director at the University of Washington. Prior to that, Dannen oversaw athletics at Tulane University and the University of Northern Iowa.
