Judicial Nominating Commission Forwards Nominees for Nebraska's Chief Justice
(Lincoln, NE) A Judicial Nominating Commission has forwarded the names of three nominees to Gov. Dave Heineman for consideration of appointment to serve as the next Chief Justice of the Nebraska Supreme Court.
The nominees are John Gerrard of Norfolk, Mike Heavican of Lincoln, and John Icenogle of Kearney.
Gov. Heineman will conduct interviews with each of the nominees in the coming weeks.
