(Lincoln, NE) Gov. Dave Heineman announced that the western Nebraska quarter launch ceremony originally planned for Friday, April 7 at the Five Rocks Amphitheater in Gering will now be held in the gymnasium on the Western Nebraska Community College campus in Scottsbluff due to the chance of storms in the area.

Pre-launch entertainment will begin at 1:15 p.m. MT with the Lakota and Los Guadalupaños Dancers, with the quarter launch ceremony scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. MT.

Maps and directions to the campus, located at 1601 E 27th St., will be available on the Nebraska quarter Web site, http://www.nequarter.com.
