Gov. Heineman's Statement About Second Round Passage of Tax-Relief Package
(Lincoln, NE) Gov. Dave Heineman issued the following comment following the second round approval of LB 968, the tax-relief package developed with the support the Legislature's Revenue Committee and the Governor.
Gov. Heineman said, "I am pleased the Legislature saw fit to advance the cause of tax relief. This is a significant and sustainable package that correctly articulates tax relief as a competing priority to new spending. It reflects the need to continue working to make Nebraska a more favorable place to live, work and do business."
