Gov. Heineman's Statement on Visit
by Japanese Ambassador

(Lincoln, NE) Gov. Dave Heineman today issued the following statement on the pending visit to Nebraska on Oct. 28 by Japanese Ambassador Ryozo Kato:

"I would like to congratulate Sen. (Chuck) Hagel for securing this important and timely visit to Nebraska by the Japanese ambassador. I look forward to continuing our work with the Senator and with Ambassador Kato to accelerate the reopening of this important export market for Nebraska and U.S. beef. Our ranchers still raise the highest quality beef in the world, and we look forward to tempting Japanese palates again soon."
