Gov. Heineman Orders Flags to Half-Staff
in Honor of Lt. Gov. Roland Luedtke
(Lincoln, NE) Gov. Dave Heineman has ordered all U.S. and Nebraska flags be flown at half-staff on Tuesday, July 26 in honor of former Nebraska state senator and Lt. Gov. Roland A. Luedtke.
“Roland was a great Nebraskan who embraced not only issues but the people of this state,” Gov. Dave Heineman said. “His approach to public service was the epitome of what Nebraskans expect from state and local leaders; a willingness to talk and work with others, as well as decisiveness and sincerity.”
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, at First Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
