Gov. Heineman Orders Flags to Half-Staff in
Honor
of Lt. Gov. Don McGinley
(Lincoln, NE) Gov. Dave Heineman has ordered all U.S. and Nebraska flags be flown at half-staff on Monday, July 11 in honor of former Nebraska Lt. Governor Don McGinley.
“Don McGinley brought his western Nebraska sensibilities to Lincoln and Washington,” Gov. Dave Heineman said. “He never lost sight of his roots or of the people who elected him to serve.”
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 11, at St. Luke Catholic Church in Ogallala.
