Judicial Nominating Commission Forwards
Nominees to Gov. Heineman

(Lincoln, NE) The Judicial Nominating Commission has forwarded the names of nominees to Gov. Dave Heineman for consideration for appointment to vacant seats in two of Nebraska’s District Courts.

For the District Court, Second Judicial District the nominees are: David Arterburn of Papillion, Steven Delaney of Bellevue, Ann Ebsen of Bellevue, Carll Kretsinger of Papillion, Michael Smith of Springfield, Michael Wellman of Omaha, and Wendall Wood of Papillion.

The nominees for a seat on the District Court in the Fourth Judicial District are: W. Russell Bowie, Barbara Kueny, Paul Peters, Michael Pirtle, and Marlon Polk, all of Omaha.

Gov. Heineman will schedule interviews with the nominees in the coming weeks.
